Equinox Dye Bath: Honoring the Colors of Fall

  • Cambridge Naturals 92 Guest Street Brighton, MA, 02135 United States (map)

Join us for an afternoon spent dyeing in community with herbalist and natural dyer Maggie Ruth Haaland. Fall is the time of golden yellows and oranges. Goldenrod, marigold, coreopsis. When the beginning of fall is heavy with certain fruits and lots of shifts. Come learn the basics of natural dyeing and ecoprinting in this hands on workshop on the lawn outside the Brighton shop. We will sink into the energy of early fall with a seasonal herbal tea and then get our hands into the dye pots! Maggie will also touch on the mordanting process and the use of natural dye as a ritual and self care practice. Hope you will join us for this afternoon spent creating and learning in community!
