  • We’re located at 23 White Street Cambridge MA 02140 in the Porter Square Shopping Center, accessible via MBTA (redline to Porter Square Station, or the 77, 83, 96 bus lines). Outdoor bike parking is available. 2-hour free parking is available in the main lot in front of our store. We’re located next to Porter Square Books.

  • Right now, we are not running a special order program due to the complexities of maintaining our new online store and inventory management system. Check back here in the future!

  • We don’t currently offer a rewards program. Because we offer so many monthly sales on best selling items, a rewards program isn’t feasible for us at this time. Also, we’ve found that many customers prefer not be asked a million questions when they’re checking out at the register.

  • Our hiring needs vary but we are always accepting applications! You can find up-to-date job openings and our general application here.

  • We are not currently set up to accept EBT due to the limited selection of fresh (perishable) grocery products we carry, and the complexities of applying to be EBT-eligible. We applied once and were denied (not clear if it was due to the requirements or general bureaucratic challenges). We’ll try again at a later date!

  • If your medical professional has recommended or prescribed you certain supplements, you may be able to use your HSA/FSA card to purchase them, or submit the receipts for reimbursement. See more details here.

  • Sadly no! Because we do carry grocery items and therefore are inspected as a grocery store, we are unable to allow non-service animal dogs (or pets) in the store. However, we often have an open bag of treats on hand and are happy to give your dog a treat outside the store!

  • We sure do! We offer local delivery through our main online store as well as through Mercato.

  • The best way to connect with us is via our partner application form. That form contains all of the information we need - so it’s best if you fill it out, even if we’ve already met you at a tradeshow, etc. And you’re welcome to send samples if you’d like! All of the information is available on the partner application.

  • You can find our regular store hours listed here. We also update our google listing when there’s a holiday/special hours and will post on our instagram page and in the announcement bar on our website.

  • Great question! Almost all of our inventory at Porter Square is available on our online store (which you can also order for delivery, or to pick up at either location). You’re always welcome to call the store during business hours to confirm that your product is in stock.

  • We make dozens of charitable donations to local organizations every year, according to our mission and giving criteria. You’re very welcome to fill out our donation request form. Please note that due to the high volume of requests, we are unable to respond to or fulfill every request.

  • We don’t currently offer donations for any category of people. Our margin is critical to our survival as a business - it allows us to pay competitive wages and ample benefits to our hard working team members, who make it all possible. Thank you for your understanding! We do offer category extensive monthly sales on dozens of brands, so there’s many opportunities to buy your favorite or needed products at a great price. And, we have a wide range of products at varying price points to meet many budgets.
