Sweet Babu's Cherry Pie Granola

I am very picky about my granola. For me, it has to be crunchy and not too sweet. That's why I was so pleased to find Sweet Babu's Cherry Pie Granola. I treated myself to it on a whim recently, looking to add a little oomph to my yogurt, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's absolutely delicious. The granola has a perfect crunch and just the right amount of sweetness, and the cherries are tart and deliciously chewy. I have kept my bag stashed away at work and have been slowly working through it as a snack and on yogurt. Even better, it's gluten free, the company is women owned, and it's made locally in Massachusetts. A perfect fall snack!

Amber

Whole Cloves (CN Bulk Section)

Nothing says 'autumn' to me quite like the spicy, earthy, supremely unparallelled fragrance of cloves. I add them to mulled cider; toss a pinch in my cranberry sauce; and stud them into oranges to make pomanders (whimsical Renaissance-era air fresheners that you can hang in your closet or above doorways). To me, cloves are the scent of welcome, of comfort, and of home.

Mike

East Alstead Roasting Co. - Burundi Kibingo Oro

The cold approaches - we can all sense its brutal advance as a chill accent on the last of the summer winds. I wither as fall's lower than appreciated temps sap my power. Fortunately, fortifying treats exist, my favorite of which is E.A.R.'s Burundi. A toasty cup of coffee (replace cup with pot on particularly frigid mornings) that warms my insides to feel like June is still with us. These beans do switch every few months, so if it's not here? The other offerings prove worthy as well. As detailed as it is defrosting, I'll be sure to keep these beans close until my beloved heat returns next year.

Alexandra

Host Defense Stamets 7 Mushroom Blend Powder

Recently I have really been loving this mushroom powder blend. It contains lion's mane, cordyceps, maitake, reishi, royal sun blazei, chaga, and mesima. I love mushrooms because they are immune balancing rather than immune boosting. I usually keep a jar out on my counter and throw it into whatever I'm cooking! I add some to my quinoa and cook it in the rice cooker most often, but am excited to stir it into some yummy soups this autumn. It's the perfect immune support for the changing of the seasons, and so easy to integrate into your routine. Yay for functional foods!

Victoria

Nussli 118 - Sprouted Nut Squares - Vanilla Bean Blondie

These are great when I haven't eaten breakfast, and need something to sustain me until lunch. They're also great as a night time snack, when you need a little bit of sweetness and want it to be a healthy choice. We are collaborating with Nussli 118 on a Fall cooking series - see more details here!

New from our Cambridge Naturals brand of supplements these certified vegan, from-food, Organic once-daily multivitamins are a great option for people looking for a whole-food multi.  Whole-food vitamins are sought out for their high absorption and they're a great option for people with sensitive digestion systems too.

Dev

Canaan Fair Trade Palestinian Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Rumi

This delicious, savory, and slightly peppery olive oil has climbed its way to the top of my list! I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and am very picky about the quality of oils that I use. This particular one hails from regenerative family farms in the West Bank of Palestine, and utilizes olives from Souri trees, many of which have been lovingly tended to for close to 1,000 years. One of my favorite fall treats is a nice, spice-roasted squash with a light oil drizzle. I can't wait for Rumi to work its magic this season!

Caleb

Seggiano Carnaroli Rice

Risotto is one of my favorite  dishes to make as the weather gets cooler. I make mine with both fresh and dried mushrooms, finely chopped onions, arugula, parsley, and a generous amount of fresh Parmesan. Seggioano’s risotto rice, both Carnaroli and Arborio, is certified organic and grown with the highest standards in northern Italy. Use Better Than Bullion base for the stock for a rich and flavorful dish!

Brenden

Hiyo Social Tonic - Blackberry Lemon

Hiyo Social Tonics are a great way to relax with friends when you are catching up on all of your summer adventures without leaving you feeling crummy the next day. The beverage is crafted with organic adaptogens, natural nootropics, and functional botanicals aiming to provide a stress-relieving, mood-boosting lift! I really like the blackberry lemon flavor as it packs a punch flavor with every sip.

Tom

Superior Source L-Theanine 200mg Microlingual

Sometimes I feel like a teapot of emotions. When I have been on the stove for long enough and feel pressure building under my lid, this fast acting, dissolvable form of L-Theanine helps keep me balanced and calm.

Ellie

Organic Bath Co Body Butter Warm Vanilla Scent

It's entering the season where dry skin can start to become especially perilous, and in blustery fall weather there's nothing more comforting than giving your skin some much-needed cozy TLC with a deliciously scented body butter. Organic Bath Co's body butter has been a favorite and standby of mine for years, and this limited-edition scent is sure to bring your skin lasting hydration and autumnal bliss.

Molly

True Grace - High Potency Omega-3 Fish oil

I take fish oil year round, but with school back in session, it's a great time to work on supporting brain and immune health! I've tried several fish oil supplements and the True Grace High Potency Omega-3 Fish Oil is by far my favorite. It's made from sustainably sourced, wild-caught Alaskan fish and has no fishy smell or aftertaste, only a pleasant lemon oil. It's easy to swallow and gentle on my stomach. I also love that True Grace is committed to reducing plastic in the ocean: the bottles are made with post-consumer recycled plastic and are meant to be refilled!

Shannon

Potager Soap Company Bar Soap-Lemongrass Calendula

With the changing season, treat your skin to some luxurious hand-made bar soap from Potager Soap Company. Each soap is made with a handful of simple ingredients right in Concord, Mass. Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of visiting their headquarters and meeting the lovely women who thoughtfully craft each batch. My favorite scents are Lemongrass Calendula and Minted Lemon Tea because they remind me of the lingering end-of-summer sunsets before true fall sets in.

Ashley

Broken Cup Teahouse - Stone Chocolate Oolong Tea 35g

For those days when the air is crisp and the leaves are changing, Broken Cup Teahouse - Stone Chocolate Oolong Tea is like the warmth of a perfectly curated campfire with every sip. Warming from the inside, out.

Allison

Cambridge Naturals Ginger Bronchial Zinger

I'm not a warm beverage drinker, but I still need a special beverage to soothe a cough. Instead of making tea, I mix the Cambridge Naturals Ginger Bronchial Zinger with chilled unflavored seltzer. The osha root and wild cherry bark help support the respiratory system. The ginger in the syrup tastes just like ginger ale when mixed with seltzer. It's so delicious that I sometimes drink it even when I'm not sick!

Emily

Cambridge Naturals Brand Astragalus Tincture

Astragalus is one of my all-time favorite herbs, and this CN Brand tincture has been a mainstay in my medicine cabinet for years now - I take a dropper full every morning in lukewarm throughout sniffle season! Astragalus (huáng qí) is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to support a healthy immune system response and reduce inflammation. Astragalus has a mild, woody taste and the dried herb from our bulk section can also be added to soups and stews, or made into a tea!

Ursa Major Spray Deodorant - Sublime Sage

I might lose my Cambridge Naturals employee card (not a real card, a hypothetical one) when I say this, but I have not made the switch to natural deodorant. However, I love this Ursa Major deodorant for when I'm on the go and feel the need to freshen up. It has a lovely smell that isn't overwhelming, which is good for folks that are sensitive to strong scents. In addition to the brightness from the sage, there are other nice additions like lavender, sandalwood, lemon myrtle, and frankincense. Perhaps someday I'll officially make the switch to natural deodorant, but for now I will keep my Sublime Sage in my bag and spray away when the mood (or smell) strikes!

Amber

Ethique Curliosity Co-Wash Bar

I discovered this product at EXPO West 2024, and it was a total game-changer for me. I'm the only person in my family with curly hair, so learning how to take care of it has been a journey! Co-washing, which is basically using a super-moisturizing conditioner to wash your hair, has done wonders for me. My curls are voluminous but defined, and they've never been softer. One Ethique co-wash bar lasts for 100+ uses, and there's no plastic packaging -- perfect for curly folks who want to reduce waste while having excellent hair. Bonus: it smells like lemongrass, one of my favorite summery scents!

Mike

Casamara Club - Sera

It's Saturday night. I'm finishing my shift here, and I need something refreshing to kick off my weekend. This can right here glares at me from the cooler, knowing that I need it. What do I do?

I practically drown myself in this allspice/anise wonder, with notes of grapefruit that I so dearly love. Something about it calms both my stomach and my mind. With summer begging to take over, I can finally enjoy this with the windows open. The perfect little treat!

Victoria

Ere Perez Quandong Green Booster Facial Serum

Moisturizers and oils feel way to heavy for my face, so I'm super happy to have found this green booster serum that feels light on my face; goes on smoothly without me feeling like I am stretching my skin, and adds a tiny bit of moisture. It's packed with tons of antioxidants and this special Australian plant called Quandong - an amazing source of Vitamin C! Ask us for a sample to take home and try!

Zach

Aya's Tasty AF Green Garlic Oil

Garlic lovers rejoice and flavor fiends unite!   Aya's Tasty AF has heeded your call for zing with their wildly delicious Green Garlic Oil.  A mouthwatering amount of garlic meets parsley, coriander, Jalapenos, salt, and vinegar in this must try condiment.  I've already used this on just about everything - mixed in cream cheese for bagels, in marinades for vegetables, in salad dressing, and more.

Alexandra

Mountain Rose Herbs Calendula Hydrosol

Now that it's getting warmer out, all I want to do is be in the sun. Unfortunately, the hours of sunbathing can have consequences, as I often find myself with a bit of a sunburn. It's because of this, a staple of my summer skincare is the calendula hydrosol from mountain rose herbs. It's so soothing and healing! It always cools down the heat of my sunburn. I'll throw it into my bag when heading to the beach to use as a refresher throughout the day as well.

Dev

Bobo's Coconut Oat Bar

Dense, filling, tasty, and convenient....what more do you need in a breakfast or snack bar? I've recently gotten into Bobo's Oat Bars and it's truly the perfect time of year for them. I'm regularly fueled by them for breakfast, but they would also be a perfect companion on a hike or other outdoors excursion. Coconut is simply the perfect summer flavor, but there are other Bobo's bars to satisfy any palate!

Julia

Badger SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen

As someone who has sensitive skin, does not respond well to fragrances, prefers products with the fewest ingredients possible, likes to feel protected from sunburns, and has been looking for an non-chemical sheer sunscreen, Badger's new edible formula works super well for me. Although Badger offers a facial sunscreen with the same formula, I use the regular one on my face and am happy with the results. With just zinc oxide, coconut oil, sunflower wax, and sunflower vitamin E...Badger's new mineral sunscreen blends in immediately and my skin feels soft and protected.

Caleb

Ursa Major Fortifying Gel Moisturizer

This lightweight moisturizer is perfect for summer. While deeply soothing, it is not oily so you can move and sweat with ease. And, the cooling aloe vera feels oh so good after a day in the sun. Pairs well with Ursa Major's Face Tonic for extra soothing hydration and their Daily Defense Lotion for all day weightless UV protection.

Brenden

Badger SPF 50 Adventure Mineral Sunscreen

Summer in the city means you need sunscreen in your bag at all times.  I go for the Badger SPF 50 Adventure Mineral Sunscreen with Clear Zinc. When using this you get great lasting protection, but never forgot to reapply often!  The best part about this product is the clear zinc, which leaves minimal to no white cast on the skin.  Come in to our stores, pick it up and have a great summer!

Bianca

Parch Non-Alcoholic Prickly Pear Paloma Mocktail

The paloma is the chic and sophisticated sister of the margarita. It's citrusy, bitter- sweet, and extremely refreshing on a hot summer evening. I like mine in a chilled glass with a salt or tajin rim. The addition of adaptogens like ginseng and ashwagandha leave me feeling calm and excited for what's to come next.

Sally

Derin International - Turkish Classic Towel

These 100% Premium Turkish Cotton towels are so absorbent and lightweight. Very easy to stash in a beach bag for the summer, outing  or use as a spontaneous picnic blanket.
They measure 78" x 38" making them large enough for bath, spa or gym use as well. There are a variety of vibrant fun colors available and a smaller size is also an option.

Ellie

Little Seed Farm Deodorant Cream - Blue Tansy Rose

I've been a cream deodorant skeptic, and I'm used to finding that I need to reapply natural deodorant if I want it to last, so I've been pleasantly surprised by how well this lovely cream deodorant from Little Seed Farm holds up through the end of the day even in the humid summer months. One of the newer scents, Blue Tansy Rose, is my personal favorite, but you really can't go wrong with their selection.

Daisy

Mad Hippie Luminizing Facial SPF 29

We carry several lovely sunscreens ranging in texture, strength, and application (cream, balm, or stick) but I always return to Mad Hippie's Luminizing SPF. As the name implies, this 29+ UVA/UVB sunscreen has a shimmery finish which I love any day and especially those days when I want my skin to be extra glowy. It also has several wonderful skincare ingredients like Squalane and Niacinamide to nourish your skin during continued use all summer long!

Shannon

Roar Organic Cucumber Watermelon

I tried this drink for the first time last summer when the CN crew spent the day at Muddy River Herbals farm and have been a fan ever since! Filled with electrolytes, this is one of my favorite go-to drinks after a long, hot summer day!

Sarah

Botanica Outdoor Candles

Move over citronella there's a new party in town!  I love sitting outside but absolutely hate citronella.  These candles are the perfect solution.  Who knew outdoor candles could be so luxurious?  Made with soy wax and mosquito repellent essential oils, these candles not only say bye bye to pesky bugs but smell AMAZING.  They can also be used as indoor candles.  Best of all, when the candle is finished you can reuse the ceramic vessel as a planter.

Allison

Alden's Organic Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ice cream all year long, but I splurge on these ice cream sandwiches in the summer months. The ice cream is rich and smooth - the perfect match for the soft chocolatey cookie. Need I say more?!

Emily

Mount Lai Cloudberry Dew Gel Eye Mask

Summertime is when I want to feel my most vibrant and fresh-looking (harder to go goblin-mode under piles of sweaters as in wintertime), but it's often challenging to get a good night's sleep on those stuffy, sweltering summer nights! So I rely on a few tricks to help soothe my puffy morning eyes - first: hydration, second: jade roller, and third: these amazing gel eye masks from Mount Lai! They contain cloudberry (a vitamin c + antioxidant rich super fruit), irish moss, peptides (known as a building block of collagen) and hyaluronic acid. I've never looked *less* tired after a night of tossing and turning! And luckily, a beautiful summer's day awaits.

Zach

Moss Mango-Ginger Sea Moss Beverage

I've been waiting for this product to exist - a sea-moss drink with a meaningful dose but with a flavor and texture that are delicious all on their own.  Refreshingly funky with lots of Organic Mango and Organic Ginger, this new-to-CN drink is gonna be my springtime go-to for something juicy but not sugar-laden (plus all the trace mineral goodness of Sea Moss!)

Amber

Surely Wine Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Brut

Picture this: you're sitting on a blanket in your favorite local park, the scent of crushed grass beneath your legs. Fat bumblebees nose their way through early-spring flowers. A street performer bows their violin somewhere nearby. You've got some crusty bread, raspberry jam, sharp cheddar cheese, and this deliciously tart non-alcoholic wine filling you up like sunshine. You take a deep breath. Winter is finally over, and the sky has never seemed bluer.

Ellie

Weleda Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery Skin Cream

When the days start to gradually trend warmer and longer, many of us start to emerge from our winter burrows and spend more time outside. It can take some time to remember to be careful and apply plenty of SPF in the changing season... so when I get a little too bold and get burnt (whether by the sun or in a clumsy kitchen slip-up) I've been finding this calendula cream from Weleda soothing and supportive with the healing process. It's thick, luxurious and intensely moisturizing, so when I use it I get to feel like I'm *really taking care of myself*. Good to have on hand for those unfortunate moments!

Brenden

Beekeeper's Naturals - Sinus Support

Beekeepers Naturals has combined the the superstar of immune support- propolis - with quercetin, bromelain and nettle leaf to provide a potent dose of seasonal sinus care that helps support healthy histamine levels. I love this product all year round but especially during spring allergy season!

Emily

Real Pickles Red Napa Kraut

As we ease into spring I start to crave fresh produce: crunchy veggies from the local farmers market. Unfortunately it's not really till late April or May that we get to take advantage - so I'm getting my crunch fix via Real Pickles' delightful red napa kraut. Lacto-fermented in small batches with using all organic ingredients including zesty purple daikon, red napa cabbage, ginger, and savory Atlantic sea vegetables, it's the crispy tangy umami kraut of my springtime veggie dreams.

Shannon

Evanhealy Lavender Argan Light Facial Moisturizer

This is a great product to use when I'm ready to switch out the heavy moisturizer that protected my skin through the winter months! It's light, fast absorbing, and still leaves my skin feeling hydrated all day long. Plus, the light scents of Lavender & Argan Oil are nonirritating and reminiscent of blooming spring flora.

Dev

Nantucket Spider Laundry Detergent Strips (Chamomile)

There are few items in the store that I use more regularly during the week than these helpful little squares. Spring on the horizon means new growth, blooming flowers, open windows, and of course....spring cleaning, including laundry! If you haven't yet, making the leap to detergent strips is so worthwhile. These save on space, have a lovely and mild floral scent, and come in totally plastic-free, biodegradable packages. More importantly, they take almost no effort--just toss one or two in with your laundry load and you're good to go. (Unscented strips are also available for those who are particularly sensitive!)

Caleb

Vibrant Health Green Vibrance

I have now been drinking this every day for two months and I honestly feel better than I have in a long time. Packed with essential nutrients and probiotics, this has been one of the most welcome additions to my daily routine! And, they are a wonderful company to support with strong values of transparency and quality.

Mike

Aya's Tasty AF Hot Chili Oil

Winter, faint as it was, is departing. At least, we think so. However, you may still need a wake up call to really get your bones moving into the new season, as I do. Personally, I prefer to do so with tasty goods, and this is one tasty good that will jolt you right out of winter hibernation! You can eat it as a dip for chips (my preferred method), or you can cook with it, but a little dab will surely awaken your taste buds for the wonders of spring!

Tom:

Ultima Replenisher Electrolyte Mix

As I progress in my training for some trail races later this spring, I always mix Ultima powder into my hydration bladder. This electrolyte concoction serves as a tasty source of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chloride, potassium, and sodium - plus vitamin C and zinc. It comes in a variety of flavors derived from fruit and plant extracts with stevia leaf. I have yet to try them all. Ultima helps my body keep up with whatever activity I am doing no matter how physically demanding it is.

Allison

Dr. Bronner's Liquid Castile Soap

Tis tis tis the season for spring cleaning! Dr. Bronner's is a very useful multi-purpose soap, but I personally like to use it to clean my makeup brushes. I like to set aside time at each seasonal shift to clean commonly used items that are easy to neglect, like makeup brushes. Just run your brush under water, apply some Dr. Bronner's, swirl the brush in your palm to clean, and rinse until water runs clear.

Deborah

Jeni's Ice Cream - Lemon & Blueberries Parfait

Enjoying a bowl or cone of Jeni's Lemon and Blueberry Parfait Ice Cream is the perfect way to welcome in spring. It achieves a perfect balance of smoothness and tartness, complemented with the sweetness of real blueberries.

Sarah

Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain in "Forever You"

Jane Iredale's Just Kissed lip and cheek stains are magical PH activated formulas that react to your body's natural chemistry to create a unique color that's just for you!

My personal favorite is "Forever You" which goes on clear leaving the shade a total surprise. For those who'd like a little more control over the color family, they also come in Forever Pink, Forever Orange and Forever Red.  The stains can be used on both lips and cheeks and, like the name suggests, they are long lasting.

What color will you choose?  More importantly... what shade will choose you?

Julia

Quinn Filled Pretzel Bites-Chocolate-y Peanut Butter

These are a perfect delicious shareable snack, as long as there are no nut allergies!  They are organic, gluten-free, vegan, Non-GMO, and Kosher! I can share them with my gluten-free friends, and...there are people who eat gluten and are skeptical of gluten-free pretzels, who really like them! I like having a snack and/or treat that is sweet and salty. These are gone within hours. There is an amazing crunch and then the peanut butter chocolate gooey-ness inside melts in my mouth. Quinn also has the plain peanut butter option, which is incredible as well. Yet, anything with dark chocolate makes my day better.

Julia

Sienna Naturals-Mini Repair Ritual Kit

As someone with super curly (3C) curls who has been looking for the right natural curly hair products for a long time, I think I've found my match. My hair is very fine and thick product designed for many curly types weighs my hair down, creates stickiness and/or crunchiness. Sienna Naturals' Mini Repair Ritual Kit includes the Deluxe Mini H.A.P.I Shampoo, the Deluxe Mini Plant Power, and the Deluxe Mini Dew MagicI began with the Plant Power deep conditioning mask. It restored my hair, making it super silky soft. Opinions differ on no wash, co-wash, or gentle shampoos for curly hair. I have never been happier with a shampoo than the H.A.P.I. one. Then, to put a cherry on top, the Dew Magic leave-in conditioner leaves my hair soft (NOT crunchy) and defined curls for the day. The products also dry quickly, not causing it to look like I have wet hair all day! Bonus: I am super sensitive to fragrances and can only wear and use essential oils. Some essential oils are even too strong for me. Sienna Naturals uses the gentle and uplifting scents of lavender and geranium. Sienna Naturals combines shea butter (an essential for curly hair in my books) and baobab oil, which for me, is key to softness and hydration. I just tried this mini-kit, and now I want to fill my shower with all of their products!

Shikai Cucumber Melon Body Lotion

Winter weather for me means lotion lotion lotion!  Although I love heavy body butters, they are usually too greasy to put on right before getting dressed.  I love this Shikai Body lotion because it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any greasiness behind.  Cucumber Melon is not only a super fresh scent which brightens any gloomy day, but it reminds me of lotions I used in the 90's.  Total Nostalgia.

Amber

Lake Champlain Traditional Hot Chocolate

I am a devotee of hot chocolate during the winter months, and Lake Champlain makes the best I've ever had. Rich and satisfying without being too bitter, it also serves as a great base to customize the flavor with your favorite herbs and spices. I like to add a pinch of ground cardamomcloves, or smoked salt for a truly luxurious hot chocolate experience!

Nora

Herbs Etc Deep Sleep Non-Alcohol Tincture

It's easy for me to lose track of my bedtime in the winter when 5pm and 5am feel almost identical. I can't deny, though, that keeping a semi-regular sleep schedule is essential for my physical and mental health. Taking a herbal sleep tincture as part of my evening routine, like this lovely blend from Herbs Etc, can be very supportive for getting me to bed at a reasonable hour, especially when I take it at the same time every night.  This blend has a potent combination of soothing sedative herbs including passionflower, california poppy, milky oat, and valerian - plus, it's a non-alcoholic glycerite, without the sting of alcohol-based extracts. Sleep well!

Brenden

Host Defense MyCommunity Comprehensive Immune Support Blend Extract

My go to this time of year is the Host Defense MyCommunity liquid extract.  What is it?  It's and incredible variety of medicinal mushrooms that may promote the immune system’s natural ability to communicate and react, encouraging a healthy and balanced immune response. Taking a dropper a day just may keep the telehealth call away.

Emily

Evanhealy Vetiver Hinoki Body Oil

'Tis the season for dry, itchy, flaky skin, ugh!! - but with this luxurious body oil from our beloved evanhealy, no more! I absolutely adore the scent - warm and woodsy, it lifts my spirits on even the cloudiest of days like a cozy embrace. I apply right after a shower, and it leaves my skin silky smooth all day long!

Shannon

Acure Vivacious Volume Shampoo & Conditioner

One of my winter woes is dry, staticky hair, but because I have very fine hair, hydrating conditioners tend to weigh it down. This shampoo & conditioner combo leaves my hair feeling soft and silky all day long, plus the mint & echinacea add a refreshing scent boost!

Dev

Baraka Dry Nose Hydrating Oil Blend

If you, like me, suffer from raw skin in and around your nostrils in the cold--not helped by constant tissue use!--then this unassuming little bottle is a life-saver. It has been and will continue to be a permanent fixture in my bathroom cabinet during dry-aired winter months.

Caleb

Urban Moonshine Immune Zoom

I'm so excited to have this product is back on our shelves! I love and use Urban Moonshine's whole line of herbal products including their bitters but Immune Zoom sits  atop my list. It's my go-to for when I start to feel  achey or a tickle in my throat. Made of echinacea, elderberry, elderflower, ginger, and cayenne and lightly sweetened with honey, it is a potent herbal remedy and tastes great too. I like to mix it with warm water and drink it as a tea!

Mike

Easy to Swallow Basic Multi

Winter is treacherous for one's health, that much is true. The cold and the snow conspire against us, seeping into our bones and making our noses both dry and runny via some arcane magic that no one wants. A solid defense against such dark arts begins with the basics: a good multivitamin! This one in particular is my favorite because it's easy to swallow and isn't particularly targeted towards anyone, which means it's useful for everyone! Sure, you can add in your echinacea, your elderberry, and whatever else staves off the cold, but these are all aided by the solid foundation of the Basic Multivitamin. Safe travels out there, and may your immune systems come out victorious against the winter sicknesses!

Alina:

Olbas Inhaler

You know that wintry feeling of only being able to breathe out of one nostril? Feel that no more! One deep inhale of Olba's menthol + peppermint vapors are sure to open that nasal passageway right up and help soothe sinus discomfort. This pocket-sized powerhouse is truly the best thing I could recommend to someone seeking immediate relief!

Indie Lee COQ-10 Face Toner

A refreshing and moisturizing toner - so moisturizing that at times I don't need to apply anything after using this (although mixing it with the Indie Lee Squalane oil is much recommended!). Amongst many amazing ingredients: CoQ10 is a powerful antioxidant and the Hyaluronic Acid provides lasting moisture, binding up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Great for all skin types, and loved by many Cambridge Naturals team members. BOTH COME IN TRAVEL SIZES, perfect for testing them out!

Allison

Echinacea Tincture Alcohol-Free

It feels like I'm always on the verge of cold in the winter months, so I like to use the Echinacea Alcohol Free Tincture a few times throughout the week. I feel like it keeps my immune systems engaged which is much needed this time of year! I mix it with juice or seltzer and sip on it throughout the evening. You can also add it to warm beverages as well!

Sally

Badger - Sore Muscle Rub

I find that during the winter cold, snowy, icy months, I am walking around a little bit more cautiously trying to not slip and fall. Sometimes at the end of the day I am feeling very tight and cold in my muscles. The Sore Muscle Rub from Badger organic warming balm is a perfect solution. This rub is in a lovely organic olive oil base with Castor seed oil and Beeswax with several wonderful oils including Cayenne & Ginger which you can really feel penetrating and relaxing your muscles when you massage into your skin. I use this as well on a daily basis on my knees that just always feel stiff. Be cautious around sensitive skin areas, this balm is seriously fierce...in a good way!

Daisy

Evanhealy Whipped Shea Butter for Lips

Over the years, I’ve tried several different types of lip balm since I always like to have one in my pocket or bag year-round. However, it wasn't until trying the Evanhealy Whipped Shea Butter for Lips that I found one I truly love. Made with moisturizing organic Shea Butter and Argan Oil, it’s truly a must-have, especially during the dry, cold months of winter.

Marissa

Maude Burn Massage Candle Unscented

Whether you're looking to spark romance or give your skin some love in a new form, Maude's massage candle is sure to bring warmth this winter. Bonus: No overwhelming scent- just pure moisture.

Rose

Little Seed Farm Goat Milk Bar Soap - Rosemary Mint Scrub

I've never been particularly picky about the soap I use, but that all changed when I started working at Cambridge Naturals. This soap in particular has become a favorite of mine, and it's especially lovely to use in the winter given its slightly rougher texture which is great for exfoliation. I love this scent too- the mint and rosemary are subtle and invigorating and it leaves your skin feeling clean, smooth, and minty fresh! Makes a great gift too- can't resist the adorable goats on the packaging!

Fly By Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp

While I could by someone gloves, or socks or something of that nature, I believe that food is the greatest gift of all, and that's why I chose the Fly by Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp.  This hot sauce is not just an ordinary hot sauce.  It is a mild tempered, warm heat, put on anything you please hot sauce.  I add at as a condiment of sorts to rice, dumplings, and my most recent favorite, Pizza! I will be giving this as a gift because it's not just something the recipient will eat and forget about.  They will have it with them for weeks to come.

Emily

Ghia Le Spritz Lime & Salt Soda

This year I've limited my alcohol consumption even further (from the relatively minimal amount I drank before). Maybe it's getting older and wiser, or perhaps just more tired from all-the-life-things, but I've found myself even less tolerant of a morning hangover from a mere couple glasses of wine! So I'm thrilled with our increasingly excellent selection of mocktails and festive NA beverages. I'm really looking forward to holiday friend gatherings this season, and planning to bring a four-pack of Ghia Le Spritz Lime & Salt Soda to share - it's the perfect balance of crisp, bitter, tart and lightly sweet! Complex enough to feel 'adult' and supremely tasty. Crack one open and enjoy!

Shannon

Soap & Paper Roland Pine Shea Butter Soap Bar

My partner is a big fan of the large Roland Pine candle I gave him last year. He used it all year long because it's his favorite scent! While I do plan on gifting him another candle this year (it's almost out!), I am excited to get him the Roland Pine scented soap bar! I'm sure any fan of our beloved Roland Pine candles will love using this luscious shea butter soap bar with the same scent!

Zach

Hot Dates Chocolate Covered Stuffed Dates - Spicy Sunflower Butter Flavor + Chocolate Covered Stuffed Dates - Coffee Dates Flavor

I'm always big on culinary gifts - because your family and friends deserve those things they just wouldn't know to buy themselves, right?  They've just got to try you're favorite snack/sauce/spice/drink!  For me this year, that's locally-owned-and-made Hot Dates.  Fabulously delicious dates stuffed with delectable fillings coated in top notch chocolate - these are as healthy as they are decadent.  I couldn't choose a flavor so you'll just have to try both

Caleb

Ursa Major Alpine Rich Cream

Love the holidays? Have dry skin? Wish you were walking through an alpine meadow as the sun rises and the autumn leaves in the valley glow crimson and gold? Ursa Major’s newest cream offers high quality moisture that is also light and not too oily. Perfect for dropping temps and winter winds.

Mike

Winding Road Ornament - Yellow Chick

Life is hard; this we know. We could all use a little pal to deal with the world, and this yellow chick can be that pal! I personally keep mine hanging in my car as a reminder that no matter what happens, there's a little adorable pal to ground me. What more could you want? And, if you don't want them in your car for whatever reason, this fowl friend can hang just as easily off a tree or a little hook at home. Birds fit anywhere, and I'm personally very glad they do.

Stainless Steel Gua Sha Tool by Mount Lai

Need a gift for the self care enthusiast or skin care curious someone in your life? Look to Mount Lai! I love using this tool for gua sha, a practice used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine for promoting blood circulation, firming the skin, lymphatic drainage, and more. The shape is specifically designed to fit the curves of your face and I appreciate the cooling and antibacterial properties of stainless steel. It's also more durable than a tool made of stone (and I have dropped 1 too many jade gua sha tools for my liking). We carry Mount Lai's plant-based skin care range as well which was intentionally created to pair with their gua sha tools and is safe for all skin types! Wonderful gifts all around from this beautiful, planet conscious, Asian-Woman Owned business.

Alexandra

Mo&Co Beeswax Tapers - Bayberry

Mo&Co always offers a variety of unique handmade beeswax candles. This year, they are offering these limited edition bayberry taper candles! The historic magickal attributes of bayberry are known to draw good luck and success. On the company's website, they advise to burn the candles overnight on New Year's Eve to usher good luck into the New Year. In my eyes, this is the perfect holiday gift- a beautifully handcrafted home item with a touch of magick.

Vicki

Brush With Bamboo - Stainless Steel Tongue Cleaner

Give the gift of a super clean mouth this year, for their sake and for your own ;). This stainless steel tongue scraper will last them forever. If you've never tongue scraped before, it is amazing how much gathers on our tongue after a night's sleep. Make sure to be gently when gliding it over your tongue. This is an ancient Ayurvedic practice, that modern dentists are now recommending! Best done in the morning after oil pulling! But honestly, you don't even have to oil pull! What is oil pulling? That's for another day!

Sally

At some point every Fall I swap out my Summer clothes for my Winter ones. I take inventory of my warm scarves, hats and mittens. This year I must have a new pair of mittens ....or Flittens ! Andes Gifts Flittens would be a perfect gift for me. These fleece lined Flittens - fingerless gloves with a mitten flap option - are fleece lined and this year we have a new beautiful color option of SageBlue and Ochre. These keep your hands warm and your fingers free, until you want to cover them with their very own mitten cap. Happy Winter !

With shades such as Lily of the Swamp, Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker, An Electric Eel in Love, and The Whir of Insects, these are sure to be a fantastic choice!

As I've learned more about taking care of my skin, I've come to realize the importance of a healthy skin barrier in preventing moisture loss and soothing irritation. This product is safe for sensitive and acne-prone skin like mine and leaves my face feeling hydrated, smooth and supple. This is one of my favorite products of the last year, I recommend it all the time and will certainly be gifting a few this holiday season. Staff Picks: Back To School Autumn Edition!

Sharing our absolute favorites for this season of fresh pencils, crisp weather and renewed focus!

Rose

A Wild Soap Bar - Sassafras

This is the perfect bar soap as we head into the fall. Its scent is warm and cozy, smelling of cinnamon, clove, and patchouli. As an added bonus, the texture is course enough to serve as an exfoliant, which is much needed as we head into the seasons of cool weather and dry skin. Plus, is there any other word as fun as sassafras?

Gabi D

Fluf Zip Lunch Bag

Who doesn’t want a fun lunch box?! It’s back to school time and a packed lunch is necessary for me. The Fluf Zip Lunch bag has space for my emotional support water bottle, multiple containers, and a small bag a BjornQorn. It’s the perfect lunch bag for any age. Another great perk is that it’s machine washable! No more wiping the inside of a lunch bag and hoping all the smell goes away. My choice is the shark! Which fun bag would you pick??

Amber

Rahua Enchanted Island Vegan Curl Butter

I get so many compliments on my hair when I use this curl cream! I have very fine hair, but I have a lot of it, and I'm happiest when it looks a bit on the untamed side. I work a bit of the cream through my damp hair in sections, then use my fingers to separate and define the curls, and let it air dry. Picture this: you're on a rambling walk through the sunlit autumn forest with leaves crunching beneath your boots, wind ruffling the woodland-spirit curls of your dreams. Yeah. If your Disney Princess hair idol is Merida, this is the stuff for you.

Allison

Onyx & Green One-Subject Notebook

School supplies! CN has you covered with these very practical one-subject spiral bound notebooks. I use this notebook to take notes during all our wonderful staff trainings and meetings! They're perfect for students, teachers, and or anyone who still enjoys putting pen to paper! Speaking of paper - this paper is made with cane sugar, not trees. The best part is: no spine-breaking required!

Brenden

Odyssey Elixirs - Organic Sparkling Energy Elixir - Passionfruit, Orange, Guava

Back to school is the time of year to get yourself organized and focused.  Odyssey Elixirs sparkling energy drinks are a great product to pick up to support this hectic yet exciting time of year. This isn't your typical bull logo energy drink.  It's filled with much healthier ingredients including green tea caffeine for the fix you might need, L-theanine for that calm caffeine come down, Lions Mane mushroom for brain support, and Cordyceps mushroom for daily energy support.  It truly feels great! We have a few flavors, try them all!

Alina

Apple Green Duck Jumbo Corduroy Tote Bag

This is simply THE autumnal tote! These colors from Apple Green Duck are earthy and cozy and what my Fall dreams are made of. It has plenty of room for all of your necessities and so much more. Take this corduroy tote with you on a breezy evening stroll, to apple picking, to markets - possibilities are endless and this is the bag to bring every time!

Emily

CN Brand Astragalus + Reishi Mushroom Tinctures

I absolutely love autumn. The crunch of crisp apples and the smell of freshly sharpened pencils (yes I still use pencils!), the changing light, and the anticipation of cozy sweater season is upon us. And, along with autumn also comes the beginning of sniffle season. But fear not! Cambridge Naturals Brand Astragalus Tincture and Reishi Tincture are here to save the day. Taken together daily on an empty stomach, they provide a powerful immune-supportive duo that can keep the autumnal germs at bay!

Molly

Bushwick Kitchen Trees Knees Cinnamon Maple Syrup

I know we see maple syrup and think of pancakes, but please try this in your coffee! I've been adding it to my Iced Oat Milk Lattes all summer for a little treat, but fall will really be this stuff's time to shine. So warming and cozy! This Organic Grade A maple syrup from the Catskills is infused with organic cassia cinnamon and so delicious!  And yes, of course, it's great on pancakes and french toast too.

Zach

Fillo's Walking Tamales

What a Walking Tamale you ask?  Well, it's a tamale's worth of deliciousness in a convenient package ready to eat on the go.  Equally at home on a plate, both flavors we stock pack a ton of flavor and quality nutrition without going overboard on anything.  They are at their peak when heated in a microwave or cut up and sautéed off like polenta but they're are also really good right out of the pack.

Vicki

Jahmu Chai - Vegan Golden Milk

All ORGANIC INGREDIENTS! Locally made by an amazing small team of health conscious individuals, in Rhode Island! I'm not vegan, and I prefer this golden milk over any others. It's lightly sweetened, excellently spiced and lusciously creamy. One jar gets you about 24 servings, and it is so worth it during those chilly/relaxed evenings when all you want to do is warm up water and stir the contents of your cup.

Dev

Omsom Saucy Noodles: Soy Garlic

It's that time again--back to school! And nothing screams 'back to dorms' especially like packaged ramen. Luckily for us, Omsom is now on the scene. These instant noodles are an elevated twist on an old staple, and there are flavor combos and heat levels to suit everyone's taste. They're all deliciously seasoned and bursting with umami flavor. You can make them happen from the "comfort" of your dorm room in a microwave, or on a stovetop. They're also great dinner starters for anyone, student or not; toss in some stir-fried veggies or a fried egg on top to make a hearty little meal!

Shannon

Appointed Notebook (Grid) - Blossom

When I went back to school a few years ago I started bullet journaling to stay organized and have been doing it ever since! I love having my notebook on me at all times and planning out each month, writing my to-do lists, taking notes for classes, and doodling. Plus it's so fun to personalize with CN's fabulous collection of stickers!

Mike

Oregon's Wild Harvest Ashwagandha Ginkgo

It is time to dread: moving day is upon us, in the city. However, there is help, and it will even help you remember where that last box is! Granted, there are other reasons this fall to take Ashwagandha Ginkgo as well: school is starting, we have to switch to colder weather garb, and there will be many more people out on the roads as it gets too cold to walk. Regulating your stress while keeping on the move is key, and that's what I like about this pair of plants!

Deborah:

Yogi Tea Soothing Caramel Bedtime w/ Minor Figures Organic Oat Milk

My day isn't complete without ending it with a mug of Yogi Tea's Soothing Caramel Bedtime. As part of my night-time ritual I brew up a mug and add a little Minor Figure's Organic Oat Milk for just the right amount of non-dairy creaminess. The tea is yummy with just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness, while the l-theanine, chamomile, and skullcap help to make me sleepy and ready to drift off!

Alexandra

Wooden Spoon Herbs Tincture - Adaptogen Balance

A mix of holy basil, ashwagandha, reishi, and goji berry; this tincture is the ideal daily stress support. I take a dropper full in the morning when I  know I have a busy day ahead of me. Wooden Spoon Herbs is also woman-owned!

Nora

Bulk Wild Cherry Bark, Pieces (Organic)

Cold infusions (steeped in cold water for at least 12 hours) made from the inner bark of wild cherry trees are warming, bitter, slightly sweet, and astringent, with an almondy flavor and scent. It's delicious on its own or when sweetened with a bit of honey, and can be helpful for chilling out hectic, spasming coughs that can arise with seasonal allergies. Calming and slightly sedative, it's a perfect cozy autumn beverage before bedtime! I like to use a sieve to strain the infusion into a mug, and then return the bark to a container and cover with fresh water to steep again - you can do this several times, and get a lot out of just a few tablespoons of bark.

Katie

Smith-Waite Tarot Deck (Centennial Edition)

Spooky Season is finally here, and what better way to get into the holiday spirit of Halloween than to learn how to read the Tarot? The Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot deck is the perfect deck for beginners, as it is a reproduction of the initial deck illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith in 1909 under the direction of Arthur E. Waite. The images are set in the original, muted colors as chosen by "Pixie" herself.

Staff Picks: Summertime Edition! ☀️

Sharing our absolute favorites for this season of long sunny days, ample bugs, and picnics with friends.

Rose

Alaffia Kids Bubble Bath - Lemon Lavender

While we may not associate bubble baths with summer, kids are usually coming home at the end of the day covered in dirt, sunscreen, bug spray, and probably other things that we don't want to know about. Ending the day with a bath to relax and mellow out is so nice, or is just a solid way to kill some time on those long summer days. This is truly the best bubble bath, and I have tried many. A little goes a long way to have mountains of bubbles to splash around in and it has a lovely and subtle scent. And while certainly not recommended, my kiddos have inadvertently eaten a lot of Alaffia bubbles and they seem to be doing just fine. :)

Gabi D

Indie Lee – COQ- 10 Toner

When looking for something refreshing on my face I really enjoy Indie Lee’s COQ-10 toner. Indie Lee combines aloe, chamomile, cucumber, and COQ-10 to keep the skin moist, reduce sun damage, and works with all skin types. It’s super soothing and smells like summer! I highly recommend getting our travel kit, which includes a miniature version of the toner, and keep it in your bag. Give your face a refresher in the middle of the day!

Amber

Relaxus Scalp Massage Shampoo Brush

Cool showers are my favorite way to beat the heat in the summer, and they're even better with the aid of this shampoo brush. Its long nubs gently massage your scalp, increasing blood flow and clearing away buildup, and it feels incredible when paired with a refreshing tea tree or mint shampoo (shoutout to Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat, another favorite of mine). It also has the (perhaps dubious) distinction of looking almost identical to the brush I use on my cat--maybe cats are on to something, though, because this brush feels aaah-mazing.

Allison

Rishi Tea - Blueberry Hibiscus

This blend of rooibos, hibiscus flowers, elderberries, blueberries & schisandra berries from Rishi Tea & Botanicals is a refreshing beverage for balmy summer afternoons. My favorite way to enjoy this tea is iced with a squeeze of fresh lime or lemon! Brew it hot and chill it or let it steep in your fridge overnight - cold brew isn't just for coffee!

Brenden

Badger Clear Zinc Sunscreen Cream - SPF 40 Protect Land + Sea

Summer in the city means you need sunscreen in your bag at all times.  I go for the Badger SPF 40 Sport Mineral Sunscreen with Clear Zinc. When using this you get great lasting protection, but never forgot to reapply often!  The best part about this product is the clear zinc, which leaves minimal to no white cast on the skin.  Come in to our stores, pick it up and have a great summer!

Alina

Fat and the Moon Dry Shampoo - Lavender Cocoa

This is absolutely the best dry shampoo I have ever tried, and is truly a life saver in these sweaty months! It has minimal, natural ingredients and absorbs oils so well while not leaving a funky residue. I have dark brown hair and since this has cocoa powder in it, it leaves no white/grey cast that I am used to from other dry shampoos - and it leaves your hair smelling oh so delish!

Emily

Jade Leaf Matcha - Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha

I've recently been taking a break from coffee for the sake of my stomach (sigh), and found that the next best thing to give me that necessary morning boost is a delicious matcha latte! Matcha has both naturally occurring caffeine and the amino acid L-Theanine which supports a balanced, calm energy. To make, I sift a teaspoon of Jade Leaf's organic ceremonial grade matcha into my favorite ceramic bowl, pour 3oz of 180º water, whisk it with all the 7 o'clock energy I can muster, and then pour a healthy dash of oat milk over the top. As the temperature has started to rise, I've been enjoying it over ice with a little maple syrup. Yum!

Sally

Wildly Organic - Chocolate Syrup

Made with only 2 Certified Fairtrade ingredients: Organic raw agave nectar, organic raw cacao powder!
This yummy chocolate syrup is processed without heat. It is thick, rich and actually more like chocolate fudge. Warm it up and drizzle it on ice cream - like Alec's organic Tahitian Vanilla Bean ice cream made with pasture raised milk from a Verified Regenerative farm or Jeni's Brown Butter Almond Brittle ice cream made with grass grazed milk,or sprinkle some Let's Do Organic Confetti Sprinkles on top (all these can be found in or near our Freezer Case). Bring on the Summer.

Keilah

Yoto & Claire Haitian Black Castor oil

I am a huge fan of anything castor oil and my favorite one has to be Haitian castor oil. The smell is absolutely devine with an overall nutty scent with undertones of sweet goodness. The benefits of castor oil are numerous, I personally use this castor oil to deeply moisturize and soften my skin, hair and scalp. It is rich in omega's 6 & 9, ricinoleic acid, vitamin E all things that help with wound healing as well as tending to angry skin. Castor oil also is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, so it is perfect after sun care especially mixed with some aloe vera gel to further cool down any irritations. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Sofia

Patagonia Provisions Lemon Caper Mackerel

PLEASE try this! Eat it with a cracker, in pasta, with rice, on a hot dog..you'll love it on everything! I look forward to making my way through all the tinned fish flavors, and fully anticipate loving all of them, but starting with this one was a SOLID choice. Patagonia Provisions works with local fisherman who fish using traditional methods, and by choosing Mackerel, you are taking pressure off some of the overfished species, like Tuna! Tinned fish for life :)

Gabi C

Ursa Major Spray Deodorant - Hinoki

As the weather is heating up, now is the perfect time to switch from my favorite Little Seed Farm Deodorant Cream (Blue Tansy if you're wondering...), to a spray! It's super lightweight and lasts throughout the day. It's also the perfect size to throw in your bag for a roadtrip or weekend getaway.

Caleb

Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream

I love the sun. I always feels better when I spend time outside with the sun of my face but it means I need to take extra good care of my skin. So, in addition to using a clean mineral based SPF if I'm working in the garden or spending the day at the beach, Ursa Major's Golden Hour Recovery Cream is my go-to daily moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated and nourished all summer long.

Aria

Mad Hippie Sheer Tint Sun Serum

This has been my FAVORITE new product. It’s a mineral SPF that blends into the skin so soft and smooth and NOT GREASY! I repeat not greasy. I’m not a person who enjoys wearing a super heavy foundation in the hot weather; however a light coverage is much appreciated so that I can still feel my best. This is just the perfect base for the summer time. Not to mention that its vegan and cruelty free. I can’t recommend it enough!

Molly

Omsom Vietnamese Lemongrass BBQ Starter Pack (3ct Sauce + Recipe)

This is my first summer with a grill at home and I'm SO excited to use Omsom for all of my grilled proteins! I've tried several of the Omsom flavors and the Lemongrass BBQ is my current favorite. Great on chicken, shrimp, pork AND tofu, but really the possibilities are endless. It's the perfect combination of savory, tangy, and a little sweet.  I like to use half of the packet as a marinade and reserve the rest to glaze at the end. Pair it with a bowl of rice and some fresh veggies and you've got a delicious and easy meal!

Vicki

Fred Soll's Resin Incense - Sweet Frankincense

This brand sells the BEST quality incense. They roll the sticks in real resin, and you see the actual pieces of frankincense on the sticks. They also burn for the longest of times, and you can snuff one out so you can use it more than once. They do require longer exposure to fire to get it to burn, compared to most traditional incense out there. I love burning incense outside in the summer time (in a holder, and not in the dirt. NEVER put an incense stick in dry dirt, it burns the dirt... don't ask how I know).

Dev

Death Valley Nail Polish - Plump Haunches

Nothing screams summer to me like freshly mowed grass on a balmy day, and now you can wear the same vibe right on your nails. It probably won't make your haunches any plumper, but it will make your fingernails look stylish and fantastic, and isn't that just as important at the end of the day?

Shannon

Mad Hippie - Daily Protective SPF

Every summer morning when I was a kid, my siblings and I would line up in the living room so, one by one, my dad could cake on our 80+ SPF sunblock for the day. I hated the feeling of SPF so much that once I got older, I often neglected my sun care, even though my skin is very fair and I burn fast! In the past few years, I have really started caring more about preventing sun damage and learning what the best products are to protect my skin. It is so important to reapply your SPF especially during the summer! I love this product because, even though it is zinc oxide based, it isn't too thick in the same way other mineral SPF's are. This serum blends in so fast! I use this product in my every day morning skincare routine throughout the year, but in the summertime I start my day with something thicker, like Badger - SPF 50 Adventure Mineral Sunscreen Tin, and then use this to easily reapply throughout the day!

Mike

Portland Syrup Co - Lavender Syrup

I love drinking in summer. Hot, cold, it's all good to me, but I get tired of things if I'm  constantly pouring them down my gullet in the hotter months. Fortunately, I've found this lavender syrup to add to my toolkit, so to speak, when snazzing up drinks! No matter what you're making, be it some kind of tea, a mocktail for lunch, or a nightcap, lavender is an excellent option for adding that summer sun to your drinks. Bonus: it only takes a splash! Sure, you CAN drink straight from the bottle, and it MIGHT be delicious... but you don't have to.

Staff Picks: Spring Forward Edition!

Rose

Sanzo Lychee Sparkling Water

I am picky about sparkling water and have very strong opinions about what constitutes appropriate flavors for sparkling water. That's why I was pleased to find this lychee sparkling water from Sanzo. Lychee is so delicious and I'm always happy to find things that are lychee flavored that don't taste fake or artificial. This sparkling water is refreshing, tastes great, and is the perfect thing to sip as we get into warmer weather. Give it a try!

Amber

Duckhead Umbrella in Royal Blue

I'm not a huge fan of rain, and spring is full of it. But those wet spring days will be a lot more cheerful with this whimsical Duckhead umbrella. It's sure to bring a smile to someone else's face--and your own face!

Gabi D

Little Seed Farm Deodorant Cream - Cedar Vanilla

For years I was resistant to going to healthy route for deodorants. I am a sweaty human, very sweaty. I made a commitment to get away from  antiperspirant when I started working at Cambridge Naturals over a year ago. Going into warmer months, it is essential for me to have a really good deodorant for those sweaty days. After a year of trying all of our underarm products, I have fallen in love with Little Seed Farm's Deodorant. It reduces the moisture. The scents are subtle and fresh. ALSO it comes in a glass container (NO PLASTIC). Another perk is we now have it in our bulk section and I can refill the jar it originally came in! Highly Recommend!

Liz

Calendula Flower (Local, Organic)

Picking fresh calendula flowers in my garden is still a few months away, but I am ready for spring (and summer) flowers now! Our bulk dried calendula flowers come from Foster Farm Botanicals, a beautiful herb farm in VT I've had the pleasure of visiting, and their dried calendula flowers are so vibrant. I use calendula to make salve for dry skin or lymphatic massage, I've made calendula tincture as part of an herbal mouth wash, and I put it in tea blends all the time for tummy tissue support and because the orange petals are just gorgeous. It truly is sunshine in a cup!

Sally

ʻŌlena Beauty Oil by Honua

I believe Honua has formulated the most perfect, well balanced winter/spring transition face serum! ʻŌlena (Hawaiian turmeric) and noni fruit help fight inflammation and heal dry skin we are all too familiar with thanks to the harsh and unpredictable New England winters behind us. This plant-based oil isn't greasy but leaves your skin with a subtle, natural glow which is the energy we are claiming this spring 🌺✨

Fresh Watermelon Electrolytes by Superieur

Spring is the season where I watch all of those incredible people training for the Boston Marathon and think "I could do that" despite never having run more than five miles in my life. But truly, walking is my jam, and I was recently inspired by post by a local writer to try to walk at least the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles) in a single day. Rest, stretching and hydration is critical for any long distance endeavor - so I'm stocking up on my favorite Fresh Watermelon Electrolytes from local company Superieur (made with clean ingredients and minerals). I add a healthy scoop to my CN branded water bottle, and off I go!

Petite Pot - Organic Vanilla Dessert

So hear me out - I know that Organic pudding doesn't cream 'Springtime!', but let me tell you - this stuff is so tasty, so satisfying, so wonderful - you'll be taken straight to the French Riviera on a cool spring evening. Ok... so maybe you won't actually be transported there but you can dream right?  All jokes aside, all of the Petite Pot varieties are incredibly delicious and I can't recommend them enough.

Beekeeper's Naturals - Nasal Spray w/ Propolis

It's been since my age was at single digits that I used a nasal spray to comabt seasonal allergies. While all of the steroidal shots into my nasal passages have had their purpose and time, as an adult I have grown frustrated by the uncomfortable feeling that said sprays present in my body. Post nasal drip being the worst of them all. On my journey as a Spraymmelier I discovered this fantastic product. I can't say enough about the minimal and noteable ingredients of Propolis and Xylitol. Propolis may support your immune system, and soothe a scratchy throat and Xylitol may help the flow of mucus.  This is your time to give it a spray and relax on a sunny day!

Triloka Insence - Ayurvedic Chakra Assorted

It's the time to align those chakras! Shake off that winter energy and embrace the Spring! It is a time of growth, beauty, and life and I am thrilled to finally throw my windows open and breathe that crisp fresh air. This assorted pack is perfect because I can decide each day which chakra to focus on. So many great scents in one little package!

Alec's Ice Cream - Tahitian Vanilla Bean made with Organic, Regeneratively Farmed A2 Milk

Regeneratively farmed cows? Easy on your stomach Organic A2 milk? Three delicious flavors? I'm selective with the dairy I consume so I was super excited to try Alec's Ice Cream and I can enthusiastically say it does not disappoint!

Baggu Socks - Ecru Cherry

I love Baggu and I love fun socks! I like anything fruit themed and the socks bring back the cherry print that was everywhere in my middle school days, but in a very cool modern way. I'm always drawn to a pop of color and red is really calling to me these days, so I've been incorporating it into into my wardrobe whereever I can. Plus these are the perfect spring socks: not too heavy and made of a soft comfy bamboo rayon. I'm so ready for warmer weather and putting away my heavy wool.  I had to have 'em!

Shannon

Baby Baggu - Lemon Tree

Before Cambridge Naturals, I was a bagger at a grocery store for 3 years. Something I realized is it is lot easier for me to use several smaller bags rather than one large bag! Large bags don't always distribute the weight evenly and tend to be more uncomfortable for me to carry. I think the baby baggu's are the perfect size and I love tossing them in my purse before I go out just in case. The Lemon Tree one is so cute and perfect for spring!

Aria

Cruet Mini Pitcher (11oz)

I'm loving these whimsy little jars! So perfect for adding a lil magic to your home. Great for any witches looking to bring in the spring with some new spell jars. Wishing all my witchy babes balance and renewal this spring!

Host Defense MycoBotanicals Liver Support Blend

This is the time to cleanse your body of all the wonderful/delicious heavy eating most of us do during the colder months. There are many ways to cleanse, and we like the most gentle approaches. This blend of mushrooms + herbs supports your body in its natural cleansing process. I started taking this a couple of months ago, due to breaking out on my face, which is a sign that your body isn't able to process some thing too well. I have been seeing the difference in my face (slight for now, will be taking it for a couple of months, natural remedies often take a long time to work! don't get discouraged). My digestion is also doing a lot better!

Octavia Morgan - Dark Rose

There's nothing better than a light spring fragrance.  I find it so hard to find a floral done right, but Octavia Morgan has nailed it!  Subtle, long lasting, not overpowering.  I get so many compliments on this perfume everytime I wear it.  (Not a fan of Rose?  They have three other scents in their fragrance line and we have all of them!)

Nora

David Winston's Herbalist & Alchemist - Original Bitters

As the soil starts to wake up and shoots start to pop out of the earth in the warming months, bitter herbs and plants are abundant and ready to stimulate the wintering digestive system and herald the new season. This lovely blend of bitter superstars like dandelion root, gentian root, artichoke leaf, and angelica root (with orange peel and peppermint for extra digestive love) can help to get the juices flowing when they're feeling stagnant. I personally love bitters for when I'm feeling bloated and fatigued - they help me to dissipate those feelings of stuckness and heaviness. Perfect for springtime!

Death Valley Nail Polish - Dust to Dust, Hibiscus Flower + Beet Root

The most beautiful addition to my nails that I never knew I needed! It's a super delicate and pretty top coat to add onto their other color called "Becker's White", or just by itself! Just adding a layer transforms the whole nail look to something that feels very sweet and personal. Plus it feels cool to tell people "oh yeah that? that's hibiscus and beet root on my nail." Super magical and definitely worth picking up!

Staff Picks: Winter Wellness!

Rose

Olba’s Inhaler

I saw a fellow team member use this awhile back and it piqued my curiosity. I admit, I was skeptical, but I am now a total convert. This inhaler provides an intense yet refreshing jolt. If you're a fan of peppermint, menthol, and even that tingly sensation from wasabi, this inhaler is definitely for you. Every time I use it, I immediately feel more awake, refreshed, and I truly believe that it even lifts my mood! As an extra bonus, it's affordable, and small enough to carry around whenever you need a little extra boost of refreshing coolness in your nose, airways, and lungs.

Amber

A. Vogel Soothing Pine Cough Drops

I can't speak highly enough about these cough drops. At first I was worried that they'd be excessively pine-y, like chewing on a Christmas Tree, but they've got a very subtle pine flavor with flavors of honey and mint. They're also zinc-free, which is helpful if you're prone to the nausea that zinc sometimes causes (like I am). These are definitely my favorite lozenges for those dreary winter days when you're feeling under the weather and need an immune-boosting pick-me-up.

Apis Apotheca Facial Balm - Honey Mallow Whipped

When the winter winds blow, Honey Mallow provides. This nourishing whipped facial balm made in the Hudson Valley is everything my parched winter skin needs. I have sensitive reactive skin and often deal with winter dry spots and irritation and this product is seriously a game changer. Best used in conjunction with a hydrosol or damp face for better absorption this balm is for everyone but especially those with reactive skin. From acne- to eczema this balm is a literal dream come true.

Bulk Ashwagandha Root, Pieces (Local, Organic)

I love ashwagandha as part of an immune building winter wellness tea blend, to support my immune system so that I might get sick less often and less badly if I do. Ashwagandha does double (and triple!) duty because it can relax the nervous system and help regulate circadian rhythm, so I take it to help me sleep and relax as well. For immune support, I like to simmer the bulk root pieces in tea for an hour with other immune building herbs like reishi, eleuthero, astragalus and a bit of licorice root, plus some cinnamon chips and ginger for flavor.

Emma

Host Defense Mycobrew - Mocha

I was actually gifted the Bulk Canister last year at MGH when they came to my Alzheimer's lab (lions mane -- great for the brain!), and I am just starting to run low on it. It is such a great warm drink in the winter. I find the lions mane really helps me focus whenever I take it--something we all need a little extra help with when laying in bed feels extra enticing. The mocha element is just such a nice little touch--who doesn't want a little chocolate mushroom coffee in the winter? Grab these little travel packets and keep them in your bag for a quick & easy good-for-your-brain drink!

Brightening Face Polish by Brown & Coconut

This scrub is one of my favorites year round, but it is a life saver particularly in the winter time when my skin leans more dry and sensitive. It only has 3 ingredients! Brown rice flour gently exfoliates away dead skin cells, oats cleanse your pores and tackle inflammation, and hibiscus is key for brightening your skin. I would recommend this for all skin types - especially those with sensitive skin who are perhaps hesitant to try a scrub. Also enjoy this as a mask to soak up all of those benefits for a little longer. Supporting small Black Woman owned businesses like B&C while taking loving care of your skin is a win-win!

Emily

Ursa Major Golden Hour Cream

Total Ursa Major fan girl here, and the Golden Hour recovery cream is my #1 when the dry, icy, blustery season takes hold. It's the protective, nourishing barrier my face needs to retain moisture all winter long! I particularly love it when layered on top of first the Ursa Major Vitamin C Serum and then Heart Grown Wild Veil of Love serum - a triple-threat combo that keeps my skin vibrant and glowing even in the dullest of months!

Zach

Town Tonic Farms Fire Cider

Newer to CN, this lovely local Fire Cider by Town Tonic Farms brings the heat - made locally in Westport this Fire Cider has local Wildflower Honey + Organic Horseradish but also Red Onion, Rosemary, Thyme, and Cayenne.  Take it by the swig or the shot, this is a must this winter season

Cocomels Chocolate Covered Sea Salt

ker-a-mel”, “kar-a-mel” ,“car-mel” however you want to say is okay as long as you are feeling the Cocomel affect and you are eating said treat for self care and winter wellness.  This little two pack is just small enough enjoy alone but not big enough to share unless you are buying multiples to share with the humans around you.  "Why should you eat this tasty treat?" That is not the question to ask! "When should I eat this tasty treat?" NOW!

Traditional Medicinals Tea - Seasonal Sampler

Start boiling that water! Pull out your favorite mug! It's tea time ;)
I have been absolutely digging the selection in this sampler. It has 4 tea bags each of herbal cold care, throat coat, echinacea plus and breathe easy.  I got to try the Throat Coat, which I've been wanting to try for a while, without committing to a whole box of it. Score! Now that I have discovered how much I love each of the teas I will not hesitate to buy a full box of each from now on, but for those that love options in life, keep on keeping on with that seasonal sampler!

Caleb

Marin Soothing Hydrating Cream

I love this new product! If your skin is anything like mine, you'll feel dry and itchy all winter long. I first read about Maine based Marin Skincare and their unique product rich in Glycoproteins, a unique by-product of lobster processing, in an article in the Boston Globe and am super excited to carry them here at CN. This is the most highly moisturizing cream I've found for both face and body and this is the best my skin has felt in many years.

Alyssa

CN Sinus Blaster Tincture

Well someone had to mention this Cambridge Naturals staple for winter wellness- if you know, you know! This tincture is like nothing else I have ever tried in both its usefulness and taste. It's a combination of potent herbs that are spicy, sweet, cooling, warming, and slightly numbing all at once. In my experience it is so helpful in finding relief from congestion when nothing else is quite working like you need it to. It also comes in a spray version if that's more accessible to you. Happy blasting!

Mixed Feelings Essential Oil Blend by Vitruvi

'Mixed feelings' are more or less what I have about winter time and the dropping temperatures outside, but the same can't be said about my favorite cold weather essential oil blend! Nothing but positive feelings here towards this warm, inviting combination of rosemary, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, and ginger--plus so much more! It's great in a traditional diffuser or as an addition to an aromatherapy-friendly humidifier.

Fat of the Land Hibiscus & Rose Honey with Marshmallow Root

I originally got this honey as a gift for a friend of mine for her birthday. But how could I give something without trying it? This honey is packed with floral and sweet flavors so much so that you don't need to add it to a complex tea blend for it to taste amazing. Hibiscus is filled with antioxidants, vitamin C and iron, all things that will help keep your immune system up and working. Marshmallow root helps soothe your stomach lining, throat irritations, and aids in relieving any coughs you may be experiencing during this season. Rose is a wonderful flower that has antimicrobial properties and reduces inflammation. All to say this honey would be an amazing addition to your winter wellness cabinet. Let the honey speak for itself and try it!

Vicki

Olipop Apple Crisp

One of the most refreshing and satisfying carbonating beverages I have had the pleasure of consuming. Seriously have been drinking a can a night for the past week. It has TONS of fiber, and 2 grams of sugar in the can, so instead of feeling guilty for drinking a soda at night-time, I feel proud that I am drinking a soda at night-time.

Thyme Herbal Winter Wellness

This book is not only adorable, but it's incredibly informative as well! The Thyme Herbal Winter Wellness book was written by an herbalist. Bringing you a variety of receipts that will keep you healthy all winter long! As well as focusing on self-care and providing information on seasonal energetics, healing herbs, immunity boosters, and so much more! One of my favorite receipts from this book is the pickled garlic, it's so simple yet so tasty! A perfect read for this time of year.:)

Megafood Elderberry Immune Support Gummies

These elderberry gummies are great for cold/flu season. In addition to elderberry's immune support, they also have blueberry and ginger. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties which is helpful for keeping the body healthy and strong to fight off illness! Blueberry is also high in vitamin C which provides an additional layer of immune support. I've been taking these for the last month, and I've really noticed a difference!
