Self-Acupressure for Anxiety and Insomnia with Joanna Rosene-Mirvis

  • Cambridge Naturals - Boston Landing 92 Guest Street Brighton, MA, 02135 United States (map)

In today's busy world, many of us experience anxiety and insomnia on a regular basis. This experiential and participatory class will equip participants with new understanding and tools to calm anxiety and insomnia. Self-acupressure practice helps us connect with our inner resources so we can meet life from a place of empowerment and wellness.

We will discuss a brief overview of acupuncture theory and the potential causes of anxiety and insomnia according to Chinese medicine theory; share in a guided meditation practice exploring embodiment, breath, and the heartspace; learn techniques for mindful, effective self-acupressure; and walk through five to seven acupressure points to calm anxiety and insomnia.

We will practice self-acupressure with each point presented in the class, and there will be opportunities for participants to ask questions throughout. All participants will receive a handout with the "essential ingredients" for performing self-acupressure and anatomical images of each point presented.

Attendees will receive a 15% off coupon to Cambridge Naturals!

If you have any questions, please email us!
